Quick-Turn Prototyping

Not all shops can support Quick-Turn assembly.

Even fewer can do it well.

Tracer has taken its planning methodology developed for production assembly, compressed it, and morphed it into a Quick-Turn quoting process.  By dedicating more resources to pre-bid analysis than our competition, we maximize probability for a defect free, on time delivery- which in turn saves our customers money and headache.

Tracer's quote process begins with the client submitting their RFQ package. Upon receiving the package, Tracer will perform a documentation package completeness check, BOM data scrub, design rules check, and a design for manufacturability review. Next, Tracer will estimate component pricing, component availability, perform a lead time check, check for obsolete or invalid parts, and provide alternate suggestions if necessary. Next, Tracer conducts a labor analysis, estimates throughput optimization, takes special processing considerations, and estimates scheduling. Tracer then conducts a comprehensive sales review, including pricing, lead time, technology, and sales strategy estimates. Finally, the customer receives their quote.
